2024 Barko Wheeled Feller Buncher 830B

2024 Barko Wheeled Feller Buncher 830B

The Barko 830B Wheeled Feller Buncher delivers maximized attachment performance for increased productivity. Featuring a high horsepower engine and rugged design, the 830B is ready to tackle the toughest jobs. Improved operator ergonomics and a spacious cab keep the operator comfortable and safe during long working hours.

Features may include:

Engine
  • The 830B is powered by a 300HP Cummins QSL9 Tier 4 Final diesel engine with SCR aftertreatment.
Load Sensing Hydraulics
  • Barko’s load sensing hydraulic system automatically adjusts attachment performance according to the load, resulting in greater productivity and higher efficiency.
Hydraulics / Attachment Drive
  • With pressure ratings up to 4,000 psi, a high-performance dedicated attachment pump delivers high flow to the attachment to reduce saw recovery times between cuts. A high capacity oil cooler and variable displacement piston pumps keep hydraulic oil cool to maximize system life. A high-pressure 20-micron hydraulic return filter helps prevent sediment and debris from damaging pumps and valves.
Travel System
  • A hydrostatic transmission with two-speed transfer case allows for controlled operation speeds up to 13.8 MPH. Barko offers foot travel control or joystick travel control options for operator preference.
  • Articulation Joint
  • A 45-degree articulation joint featuring oversized pins and spherical bearings withstands extreme stress and tough terrain, while the machine’s overall maneuverable design allows for work in tight spaces.
High Strength Construction
  • A robust design and high-quality materials provide added strength and increased fatigue resistance for long life.
Bolt-On Cylinder Glands
  • High-Strength hydraulic cylinders with bolt-on glands combine maximum durability with easy serviceability.
Cover Plates
  • Cover plates, guards and seals help prevent debris from getting into the machine.
Centralized Lubrication
  • Routine maintenance is simplified by a centralized lubrication station that provides access points for greasing steering cylinders and axles.
Service Access
  • Lockable and removable side panels, as well as removable side, front and bottom brake, engine and transmission covers, make the machine easier to service.
Operator Cab
  • ROPS and FOPS certified, the sealed and pressurized, vibration isolated floating cab features sound insulation and a comfortable adjustable seat with a 4-point harness. Climate controlled with air conditioning and heating with defroster, the cab includes user-specified joystick controls, and pilot operated foot travel and brake pedals. Improved control and switch locations help improve operator ergonomics which reduces fatigue during long working hours.
Visibility
  • The 830B offers tinted Lexan glass on all windows standard. Rearview and skylight cameras with large in-cab display aid in improving the operator’s field of vision. A total of 8 mounted cab lights enhance visibility around the machine in lowlight conditions.
Fuel Tank
  • 124-gallon fuel tank capacity allows for longer operating intervals between fill ups.
